Rain is not always a good thing

We had some rain last month that turned into feet of flowing flash floods. When all done and settled the lake levels rose above their crests, and shortly after receded. Except for Bull Shoals Lake.

Because it cannot let enough water out of it’s own dam, and water from the highly tourist trafficked Lake Taneycomo and Table Rock Lake, the Bull Shoals Lake gets the brunt of the water held. Here are some photos of the once spacious Shadow Rock Park.
